I wouldn't buy the game at full price however, but at the price it's at now, 100%. ![]() At $2.50 the game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ steal in my opinion, it's a blast to play, but you'll either love it or hate it. Play the free weekend and see how you feel about the game. Overall, that's my experience, and that's more than likely what you will experience too. The brightside? The game is fun, you can lop off people's heads, you can have a laugh with the players (though, some are toxic), there's some cool mods out there that have new game modes such as horde and star wars mod, there's a lot to do, and the game is in general fun to take part of, but just be prepared and understand that there are players on this game that have sunk a lot of time in to it, and they will ♥♥♥♥ on you 10 times out of 10 until you sink some time in to the game yourself and have a feel for the mechanics and understand how to duel. But that's just how much of a learning curve there is, you CAN be as good as these players, but be prepared to sink in hundreds of hours to learn it. Basically, you will be utterly ♥♥♥♥ on for dozens of hours, dedicated veterans will beat you in every duel, because they have dedicated that much time to learning and exploiting the combat system, there will definitely be moments where you will rage quit, there will definitely be moments where you will go "how the ♥♥♥♥ did he do that, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥", there will be moments where you think blocking is broken. So, the game has a gigantic learning curve as I mentioned. However, the game does recognise PC, Xbox and PS3. Xpadder can also be of help as an attempt to balance the limitations of the number of buttons on the controller. Now for the part that is going to be the make or break for you, this will decide whether or not you want this game. Use the Keybinds option (double click on keybind command, then function the button, trigger or stick on your controller) to map your controller to the game. The game is decently populated in a sense that, you will definitely find servers up, not once have I ever logged in and not found a server up (then again, that's for the OCE servers, don't know how NA is doing), so in terms of popularity, it's not densely populated, but you will always find a server. Inspired from the intensity and epicness of swordfighting movies such as 300, Gladiator and Braveheart, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare aims to bring that experience. Featuring competitive online combat that seeks to capture the experience of truly being on a medieval battlefield. i haven't seen a new player that really stays in the game because of that kind of people. As someone who has played this game for 1700+ hours, I can tell you now it has a massive learning curve. Besiege castles and raid villages in Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is a first-person slasher with a focus on multi-player. Or some players simply don't like you, will focus you until you leave the game. ![]() ![]() On the other hand, sadly across the years, there is another part of the community that makes some players life miserable: random votekicks, admin abusers or admins that don't act like professional, some players acts like if they own the game and all the time will write essays about why specific mechanic or map isn't allow according to them. Across the years i have met a lot of funny, interesting and enjoyable people, even i capture the most random moments and funniest situations you will ever get in this game. Each class has unique abilities and i'm pretty amazed how vanguard was created with dash attacks. The game is amazing, i really like the idea of a first person in medieval ages, objectives are decent, sound effects are the best ones and the voices are godtier list, i met this game by different media in 2014 and since then i love it. Chivalry Medieval Warfare has positive things that sometimes are blur by very negative things
